Working for a leading retailer, this position is accountable for defining, managing and implementing a continuous improvement programme for online functionality.
Close liaison with internal partners is required to implement product content standards across all direct channels, ensure online path to purchase, end to end sales process, the information architecture, search and product comparison tools and external partners for marketing, customer experience and other agency needs.
It is essential to have an understanding of the customer journey, site functionality usability and accessability, be a results driven e commerce specialist and expert in developing a best in class online shopping experience, highly organised, with strong PM skills. This will be gained from 3-5 years experience within the e- commerce arena, complemented by Degree level education and Prince2. Technical skills within the ability to write HTML, knowledge of build and design of websites for cross browser compatability is desirable, however a working knowledge of W3C web guidelines is essential.
