Merchandising Systems Consultant

Salary: £40k-£60k per annum

We require a proven Merchandising Systems Consultant for a retail software specialist who will be responsible for assessing requirements for their Merchandising software and working closely with the customer to ensure a successful implementation.

Using at least 3 years experience in the UK retail IT market, you will be wholly responsible for both pre and post sales, involved in projects from initial customer enquiry – visiting, understanding and scoping their needs – through to working with the customers merchandising team to optimise their processes in line with the new Merchandising system.

You will also be required to work with the delivery team on the systems installation and configuration – full training will be given in this area.We would anticipate that your background will be in Merchandising or Business Analysis and that you will have significant experience of Merchandising systems implementations and the associated business change.

To successfully fulfil the role, you will be highly organised, self motivated, confident in working with customers at all levels, able to relay their needs back to the technical team, give presentations, travel UK wide, and be flexible in your approach. Knowledge and experience of Merchandising systems implementations and the associated change management are essential. Previous experience of working with a consultancy is advantageous but not essential.
