Salary: £26,000 – £35,000

Working for a leading academic publisher, this is an excellent opportunity for a Commissioning Editor Sales Manager to join its international team.

The role involves commissioning exciting practical resources for education professionals in the form of text books, requiring the ability to develop profitable books that meet the needs of teachers today. This post would suit someone with commissioning experience wanting to make their mark on a highly successful list, who can manage a small team.

At times the role is pressurised, therefore organisation, multi tasking, communication and initiative is essential.

This position may be based either in Oxfordshire or London offices, however, due to business requirements a minimum of two days per week at the Oxfordshire office is necessary.

Experience within a similar role with editing experience of 3 to 5 years, a passion for publishing and ideally freelance writing / editing will be extremely beneficial in applications to the position.
